The district administration in Srinagar today found 63 employees absent from the duty and their salaries were withheld. Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, during a surprise inspection of different offices in Srinagar and checked the attendance of employees. Taking serious note of unauthorized absence, the Deputy Commissioner has ordered withholding salary of 63 employees.
