A fire incident damaged the shrine of revered saint Hazrat Baba Naseeb-u-Din in Srinagar’s Eidgah area during the intervening nights of Tuesday and Wednesday, officials said. A large number of people, including women, hit the streets of the Eidgah area alleging “sabotage” and demanding a probe into the incident. The authorities have ordered magisterial inquiry.
