Sopore: About 35 Homes Plunge Into Darkness as Burglars Dismantle Transformer

Burglars stole a 250 KV power transformer from Tarzoo Sopore in Baramulla district last night, eyewitnesses reported. The eyewitnesses told that the internal structure of the transformer, along with its wiring and fuel, was taken away, leaving only the outer shell at the scene.
