Former chief minister Omar Abdullah said the since 2000 the state government has sent 50 requests to prosecute security personnel mostly army but 47 such requests were rejected. Speaking in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly he said the what ever the action was taken was done by the army itself and later these decisions were reversed. Omar said with such track record, how could CM ensure that FIR registered in Shopian killing will be taken to logical conclusion.
