Rescue operation was started to retrieve bodies buried in an avalanche at Sadhna Top in Tangdhar, district Kupwara, in which seven people were buried.
Army and local police reached the spot.
An engineer of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) had was among the killed while a 7-yr-old boy was rescued.
The avalanche hit a passenger vehicle at Sadhna Top in Tangdhar area on Friday.
