All the three dead bodies of missing truckers were found after a nine day joint search operation launched by NDRF, SDRF, Police, Army and civil QRT at Battery Cheshma.
On November 5, a Punjab based truck from Srinagar met with a accident and skidded off from road after heavy landslide hit it at Battery Cheshma.
Later on 6 November a joint search operation was started to search the three missing persons. Family members of the missing persons also reached from Punjab.
The deceased were identified as Driver, Karaj Singh S/o Manjeet Singh (26yr) R/o Nawapind milkhiwall Gurdasspur Punjab, Conductor, Joginder Lal S/o Gurbachan lal(45yr) R/o Maliya khrud Gurdasspur Punjab,Kashmiri Lal S/o Joginder Lal (21yr) R/o Maliya Khrud Gurdasspur Punjab.
All the dead bodies were shifted to District Hospital Ramban.
