Railway is working out feasibility of stoppage of newly started Vande Bharat train from Katra to New Delhi and back at Kathua and Udhampur. DTM Railway, Prateek Srivasta said earlier train was run on trial and stoppage was given at Udhampur and Kathua but as the train has to reach within eight hours from Katra to Delhi the Railway is working out to adjust the stoppage time at Kathua and Udhampur within the eight hours duration. He said at the Divisional level the Railway is working out the feasibility and “we are hopeful that some solution will be found so that the train can stop at both the stations and the distance from Delhi to Katra is covered within eight hours and vice versa.”
