A youth delegation from Jammu and Kashmir called on the President of India Ram Nath Kovind. They visited N Delhi as part of the programme Watan Ko Jano organised by the home ministry.
The delegation had yesterday called on the home minister. The home ministry has been regularly organising visits of youth of the state to other parts of the country.
Army chief Gen Bipin Rawat had recently said that such programmes help in greater understanding of Indian ethos and culture to the youth of the Kashmir.
