Following a terrorist attack on an Indian Air Force convoy in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, security personnel initiated a search operation on Sunday morning. At least one soldier was martyed and five others were injured in the attack. Security forces, including the Indian Air Force, engaged in a gunfight with the terrorists, resulting in casualties on both sides. The injured personnel were promptly evacuated to a military hospital for treatment. Security forces have cordoned off the area and intensified efforts to track down the terrorists.
