Poonch police said two militants arrested yesterday were smuggling arms to Kashmir. SSP Poonch said prima facie it seems they didn’t intend to carry out any militant activity in Poonch. On Wednesday night two terrorists were arrested from Mendhar, district Poonch. The militants were identified as Shabir Ahmed s/o Ghulam Mohi ud- din r/o Koke Pora, Pulwama and Mohd Aqib r/o Kok Pora Pulwama. 2 AK 56 Rifle and magazines were recovered from them.
