The pictures of the wreckage of the Pakistan Air Force F-16 jet, which was shot down by the Indian Air Force in the aerial dogfight on Wednesday have emerged. A Pakistani military officers were seen inspecting a cowling of its engine.
News agency had reported that Commanding Officer of Pakistan’s 7 Northern Light Infantry was among the officials who inspected the site.
The Indian Air Force had shot down the PAF fighter jet after Pakistan violated Indian airspace and attempted to target military establishments on the Indian side of the Line of Control (LoC).
External affairs ministry’s spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said yesterday said F-16 jet fell on the Pakistani side of the Line of Control (LoC) .
