Entire opposition members of National Conference and Congress on Saturday protested against the Pakistan firing along the border in the Jammu region in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly and later staged a walkout.
The opposition alleged BJP has “failed ” in safeguarding lives of the civilians.
BJP members also raised anti-Pakistan slogans in the House. The opposition members also took strong offence to the statement of MoS PMO Dr Jitendra Singh who had on Friday said that those leaders speaking on Pakistan’s behalf cannot be pardoned.
The opposition members raised anti-BJP slogans asking them, “where is your 56-inch chest,” in apparent reference to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
