In a major crackdown on narco-terrorism, the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Administration has sacked six government officials, including five policemen, for their involvement in terror financing through drug sales. The officials were found to be part of a narco-terror network run by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and terror groups operating from Pakistani soil. The investigation revealed that these officials were actively involved in drug trafficking and using the proceeds to fund terrorist activities.
