A mutilated dead body of minor, half- burnt with left arm cut, who had gone missing on Monday, was recovered from a nullah in Kupwara district on Thursday evening.
10-yr-old Umar Farooq Malik a student of class 3rd student had left home on July 16 and his disappearance triggered protests in the area.
The police have constituted a special investigation team (SIT) to probe the matter, an official said. The body of Umar was found last evening, he said.
