Cong won 10 out of 20 seats in three municipal committees of the Ramban district for whic elections were held. Polling in one ward was countermanded. BJP won 6 while independents won 4 seats. Cong won all seven seats of MC Banihal . For MC Ramban both Cong and BJP won two seats each while in Batote committee , BJP won 4 out of the 7 seats.
