The second phase of local bodies poll held in 11 districts of the state concluded peacefully. No untoward incident was reported even from the Kashmir region.
The local bodies in the six districts of Jammu region witnessed heavy polling with District Udhampur 78.01 % . Kathua : 79.383%, Muncipal committes of Reasi and Katra registered over 80%.doda 72.77%.
However, except in Bandipora registering 35 % voting, it was quite low key affair with just 1.14% votes cast for Anantnag Municipal Committee.
DGP has complimented the forces and people for the peaceful polling.
