Member of Parliament from Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency Jamyang Tsering Namgyal raised the demands for the promotion and preservation of culture, identity, and ethnicity of Dard Aryan through comprehensive policies from the Government including multiple programs of All India Radio, and Doordarshan of Leh, Kargil and Kashmir. The tribe which abodes in the lap of the Himalayan belt with the population of 4000 is approximately believed to be the original descendants of Pure Aryan race. Numerous historians and writers have been mapping the historical aspect of Dards which entails being a pure, unique, and original tribe in every aspect.
