Srinagar: Security forces on Saturday conducted a mock-drill in Lal Chowk area of Srinagar to check ahead of R-Day.
A joint team of Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and paramilitary forces conducted the drill . Drones mounted with cameras were also used. Searches were carried out in the area and frisking was also done.
Mock-drill was conducted after spate of grenade attacks in the valley. On Friday terrorists lobbed grenade in the Lal Chowk area. Today also a grenade attack was carried out in Anantnag.
