Pakistan fired heavily along the LoC in Mankote area of Poonch targeting civilian area, An army jawan was injured landmine explosion.
Firing started at about 1.30 pm Saturday and continued for about two hours. Students who were appearing for annual exams were immediately shifted to safer places and schools were closed.
According to reports jawan accidently stepped on a landmine while patrolling forward areas in Tarkundi sector. He was shifted to army hospital.
