Mendhar hospital doesn’t have  ambulance to shift even dead bodies

Residents of village Chattral in Mendhar, district Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir,  protested against Block Medical Officer(BMO) Mendhar and Chief Medical Officer Poonch  for non-availability of ambulance.

A local had died and there was no ambulance available to shift his  body for post mortem at sub district hospital Mendhar forcing family members to hire a private taxi.

Locals alleged authorities are  misusing ambulances and demanded its availability round the clock.
