Three years ago, indiscriminate firing from Pakistan caused significant hardship for residents of border areas in Mendhar, Poonch district. However, as guns have fallen silent farmers in Chhajla village in the remote Mankot sector of Mendhar subdivision are now engaged in rice cultivation.
