An army unit after receiving a distress call from Farooq Khasana, R/O Dardpura lolab and sprang into action. Due to heavy snowfall all roads were in non trafficable condition and new born and mother trapped in snow blizzard. Jawans of 28RR carried mother and newborn for almost 6km in knee deep snow and safely rescued them to their house in remotest area of Lolab despite heavy snow blizzard.
