The higher areas in Bani and Billawar, district Kathua, are covered with snow blanket. At many places heavy snowfall has been recorded. Lohai Malhar, Machheddi , Duggan, Sarthal and Bani town received about two-feet snow,
It has affected normal lives as normal supply of electric and water remains suspended and natural water resources have freezed. Inner roads from Bani to Lowang are blocked for last two days.
