Dr. Zahir Abbas, a resident of Janipur and posted at Vijaypur Hospital, allegedly attacked junior nursing assistant Rahul Kotwal, a resident of Doda and stationed at GMC Kathua, along with another individual, Vivek Sharma, inside the premises of GMC Kathua. The attack involved a sharp-edged weapon, leaving both injured. The victims were immediately taken to GMC Kathua for treatment, where Kotwal’s condition was reported to be critical, prompting a swift referral to a private hospital in Punjab for urgent care.
