Kashmir girls are hitting the ground by dribbling past conservatism and perceived taboos and shyness too. In a first winter hockey tournament , six teams are participating in the championship.
Lack of infrastructure and even to an extent stamina as it’s seven players team event is not a deterrent to their enthusiasm and love for this game, which is not much popular in the Kashmir. They demand and clearly need better facility. If the govt is serious in helping them , dribbling past minor financial constraint should not be a problem
