A Nepali man was rescued by the Ladakh Police from attempting suicide by jumping into the Suru River near the New Omni Van Stand at Kabadi Nallah, Kargil, earlier today. A local resident, Mohd Hussain, witnessed the man jumping from the railing into the river and alerted the authorities, prompting a swift response from the police.
