J&K Governor Satypal Malik has hinted at holding state assembly elections along with the parliamentary elections.
In an interview with a national paper he said Assembly elections can take place with Lok Sabha elections but not before
He said timing and date to be decided by the Election Commission. Governor said there will be no underhand move to form a government.
He said there is no direction from the Centre to cause any defection in any party
Malik said will not entertain any party approaching him for government formation. He said even when Sajjad Lone came to meet me he did not say anything.
