Rizwan Uddin, regional P F Commissioner,J&K and Ladakh in an interview with Excelsior News said since application of EPFO service in J&K , radical changes have been brought in the service delivery that too in a transparent manner. He said since it came into operation after the J&K Re-organisation Act 2019 there has there has been radical change in delivery of all services of EPFO which are online and hand holding is also being provided to account holders. Rizwan said earlier pension scheme was not available in J&K which is now available, family pension is also being given to account holder who dies unfortunately and quantum of insurance has been increased from Rs 75000 to Rs 7 lakh. All these changes have brought about positive reviews for the organization . He said it has been made possible with the efforts of his team member
