Jammu and Kashmir Assembly on Tuesday paid tribute and observed one minute silence as respect to the Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh Dr Sonam Dawa Lonpo who passed away due to cardiac arrest in Leh on Monday evening.
Dr Dawa was unanimously elected as new CEC of the LAHDC, Leh on November 3, 2015. He was the BJP Councillor from Thiksay and President of the Leh district unit of the party
