The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly has been dissolved. The Governor Satyapal Malik ;passed the order for the dissolution of Assembly on Wednesday evening after dramatic turn of events in the day.
PDP president Mehbooba Mufti had written a letter to Governor to seek an appointment to stake claim for the government formation after PDP NC and Congress decided to form an alliance.
The development comes a day after PDP MP Muzzafar Hussain Beigh had said third front should be encouraged and had said Peoples Conference MLA Sajjad Lone is like a son.
The twist to the developments came when Sajjad Lone claiming support of the BJP also staked claim for government formation.
It is seen as check and mate move by the BJP after days of dramatic turn of political developments
