A progressive farmer in RS Pura, near Jammu, has shifted to strawberry farming which he said is yielding Rs 50,000 per kanal. He has cultivation in about 50 Kanal. Earlier he would do paddy and wheat cropping which he said didn’t bring much return. He said the government is also now incentivizing it.
