Government on Monday relaxed curfew for three hours between 2 to 5 pm in Jammu south area in view of the improved situation as the curfew entered fouth day in the Jammu region.
Deputy commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar while briefing the media said that initially the curfew will be relaxed in Gandhi nagar ,Channi himmat ,sainik colony Trikuta nagar and satwari area. However, restrictions would be in place in these areas under section 144 on Public gatherings and willbe extended to other areas in phased manner ,he said. Jammu has been under curfew for the last four days due to few incidents of violence erupted following the Pulwama attack of Thursday.
