Home minister Rajnath Singh and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval are likely to visit Jammu and Kashmir for two days from  Wednesday and review the security situation

It  will be the first such visit of the Home Minister and NSA after the PDP-BJP alliance broke up recently.

During the tour, Singh is expected to take stock of the security situation in the state, currently under the Governor’s rule, and visit the cave shrine of Amarnath

The home minister and the NSA will have meetings with Governor NN Vohra, top officials of the administration and the security agencies

They are also expected to review the Rs 80,000 crore development package, especially in the backdrop of the recent flood like situation. On Sunday Rajnath spoke to Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra on the flood situation in certain parts of the state and assured all possible help in dealing with the situation.
