High Court has issued notice to Finance Secretary and Excise Commissioner in a petition challenged closure of Bars in the UT of J&K. After hearing Advocate Arshad Majid Malik, Justice Sindhu Sharma issued notice to Commissioner/Secretary to Government Finance Department, Excise Commissioner and Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive) returnable before September 20, 2021 and also directed respondents to decide the representation of petitioners.
