J&K LG said the government is committed to safeguarding the rights and interests of Gujjars, Bakerwals, Gaddis, and Sippis. He said some vested are spreading rumors that the reservation quota of Gujjars and Bakerwals will be affected once reservation for Paharis is institutionalized. He said the reservation quota of these communities won’t be affected.
