Governor N.N. Vohra visited exhibition of Islamic Art Objects and Rare Quranic Manuscripts at Tourist Reception Centre, Srinagar.5 day exhibition has been organized by J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages .
A large number of rare documents representing various artistic forms of Quranic Calligraphy and Vellum panels have been displayed. Governor and First Lady evinced keen interest in the rare documents and artefacts on display .
Governor appreciated the exhibits for their artistic quality and high historical value. Governor observed that such exhibitions enabled the people at large to become aware of their rich cultural heritage.
