Terrorists shot dead former Congress leader activists Ghulam Nabi Patel at Rajpora chowk in Pulwama. His two personal security officers were also injured. As per reports he was coming to Pulwama from Yader. Reports suggest he had later joined PDP.
Police said the terrorists fired at the vehicle of PDP activists Ghulam Nabi Patel. Patil, a resident of Dangerpora Shadimarg, was earlier associated with with the Congress. He succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital.
Two PSOs have been shifted to hospital. PSO Imtyaz Ah S/O. Mohd Ahsan R/O. Handwara was reported fired on chest. PSO Bilal Ahmad Darf s/o Ab Rashid Dar R/O. Kangan Pulwama was reportedly fired on left leg.
