JAMMU: After being expelled from the BJP recently for his anti-party activities, former MLA from RS Pura, Dr Gagan Bhagat on Thursday joined the National Conference (NC).
The joining programme was held in the presence of NC president Dr Farooq Abdullah.
Dr Abdullah welcomed Dr Bhagat into party’s fold and said that the party will soon present document on regional autonomy.
In Kashmir also on Wednesday PDP former MLAs Basharat Bukhari and Peerzada Mansoor Hussain joined the party amid the presence of Dr Abdullah.
