Deputy chief minister Dr Nirmal Singh today said lifting of PSAs reflects the improved situation in the state more so in the valley.
CM Mehbooba Mufti in written replying in the state Assembly said nearly 726 people were detained under Public Safety Act (PSA) in Jammu and Kashmir in the last two years.
The CM said that 525 people were detained under PSA during the year 2016 and all of them were released.
