Prof. Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha Jammu and a prolific writer has been serving mother tongue Dogri by not only enriching Dogri literature with his outstanding contributions in literature but by organizing skills also and promoting Dogri, Duggar culture, and heritage for the last so many years now. He has written about eight books in addition to several research papers and other articles published in leading national journals, newspapers, and magazines and has been awarded Sahitya Akademi’s prestigious award for ‘CHETEN DI GALIYAN’ in 2011.
