An injured leopard was found near Panchayat Ghar of Malwas area near Doda town which created panic in the area. The leopard was observed by locals of the area who saw it struggling to get up and leave. After watching him struggling, Sarpanch informed the wildlife department and the officials reached the spot to rescue the injured animal. Talking to media persons, an official of the wildlife department said that they were informed by the local Sarpanch about leopard. “We have rescued the animal and we will be shifting it to Kishtwar where after treatment it will be allowed to move towards the forest area,” said an official.
