Cows not wires are tied to an electrical transformer as the Power development department has failed to provide just four poles to install at. 10-month back in January the after repeated requests to improve electric supply, the department sanctioned 63 KV transformer for Kay khan mohalla rani pora, at Achabal in Anatnag.
However, in a classical example of government department’s working the poles for installing and operatining were not sanctioned.
. The locals have repeatedly approached the authorities to install it but for the last 10months they are getting assurances only while lakhs of rupess of the state ex-chequer are getting wasted for want of just few thousand of rupees
