Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry  will not support Jammu Bandh call given by Bar Association, It said  two issues taken by the Bar Association are still sub-judice.

Speaking at the Press Conference the Chamber President Sh. Rakesh Gupta said Jammu Bandh announced by the Bar Association is a unilateral decision ignoring the facts hence  JCCI does not  support this call for Bandh for the reasons as below:

Rohingyas Issue  

That now the matter of deportation  of  Rohingyas is subjudice and pending before the  Supreme Court of India. MHA has categorically stated that no more fresh entry of Rohingyas shall be allowed in the State of J&K without their permission.

Rassana Rape & Murder Case

That the Rassana Rape and Murder of an eight year child is a heinous crime. Investigation by the Crime Branch  was being monitored  by the High Court and the charge sheet  has also been filed so  it is a subjudice matter. It’s entirely upto the judiciary to see and decide the same or handover  to CBI for further investigation.
