In the run-up to Chadar trek 2020, the District Magistrate, Leh Sh Sachin Kumar Vaishya (IAS) on 1st Jan 2020 visited the frozen Zanskar river up to the base camp of Chadar Trek. DM assessed the condition and also analyzed the facilities to be provided in order to ensure safety and security of the trekkers as well as the officials and workers to be deployed.
