Army chief says can think of extending ceasefire if peace persists

Army Chief General Bipin Rawat on Friday hinted at extending internal ceasefire if peace persists.

“If things continue in similar fashion we can think of  continuing non-initiation of combat(NICO) . But we can’t do if terrorists activity continue,” he told media at Phalagam.

Army  chief said if  Pakistan wants peace in the region it has to take initiative by stopping sending terrorists and dismantle its base camps there.
