The Three Day Air Rifle / Air Pistol Championship organized by the Kathua District Rifle Association with the collaboration of KPS Shooting Club concluded . Brig. Anil Jain, Commander, 401 Ind. Arty Brigade, Basholi Cantonment was the Chief Guest and Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, President, J&K Rifle Association was the guest of honour. Others who shared the stage were Sohan Lal Sharma, Vice President, JKRA, Rakesh Sambyal, Dy.S.P (Indoor) PTTI, Vijaypur, Inspector Sharat Chander, Vice President, JKRA, Rajesh Virdhy, Shooting Coach of JKRA, Rajeev Sharma (APS), general secretary and Mr. Tarun Sharma.
Brig. Anil Jain congratulated the organizers for promoting the sport of air rifle / pistol shooting. He complimented the management of Kartar Public School for investing in state of art of facilities and infrastructure. The Chief Guest gave away the medals to the winners. Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, President of the J&K Rifle Association pledged full support to the district unit of the JKRA and to the KPS Shooting Club in promoting the sport.
