A 60-yr old government school in Mendhar tehsil, district Poonch is at the brink of major disaster. The school building is consistently crumbling . Despite repeated reminder by teachers posted there to school authorities except assurances nothing has been done.
It was established as primary school in 1959 and in 1988 was upgraded as middle school and since then it has remained so. Due to insensitivy of the authorities the enrolment is dipping though ironically the high school is far away. Now the students and teachers have pinned their hopes on Governor
