Residents of Marhi Baasti , district Reasi, protesting against the water shortage blocked the traffic . The protesters including females set tyres on fire and laid stones along the road near SSP Reasi office.
The protesters alleged that even after sanctioning and completion of water supply they are not getting the supply. Senior police officials rushed to the spot. They told the protesters that the concerned officials have assured to start supply with in a week by installing additional water motors to lift the water.
