Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah has expressed hope that the longstanding animosity between India and Pakistan will come to an end, paving the way for better relations between the two neighbouring countries. His statement comes ahead of External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar’s upcoming visit to Pakistan for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meeting.
