Three people were apprehended by the Jammu and Kashmir Police after they allegedly did not inform authorities that militants, who police said were behind back-to-back attacks on security personnel in Doda district, took food from them at gunpoint. The three included a 17-year-old. A senior police officer said they were from Darman village in Jhai area of Doda’s Bhaderwah tehsil. Police believe that terrorists, during their stay in Jhai, approached people who had been camping in the highland meadows of the area along with their livestock, and got food from them at gunpoint. According to police, these people did not inform the police about the incident.
